As a student-athlete, Michael set many football records which still stand today. He holds the All-Time record with: 148 catches, 2742 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 99 yard touchdown. He was offered a Division 1 football scholarship to Texas Christian University, becoming only the 3rd OLu football player to earn such honor.Â
Michael started as a true freshman at wide receiver for Texas Christian University where one of his college highlights was playing in and winning the 1998 Sun Bowl Game vs USC.
