The Orange Lutheran football team enters the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs as the #3 seed overall. To open their playoff run, they play JSerra, a familiar league foe that they beat in a tight contest in early October 23-17.  

The Lancers are hosting a home game in the Division 1 playoffs for the first time since 2007.  They enter the contest with a 7-3 overall record and a 3rd-place finish in the Trinity League at 3-2.  

Nationally, OLu is ranked #16 by MaxPreps.  They prepared themselves for these big playoff games by playing a gauntlet of a schedule. Eight out of the ten opponents OLu played are still ranked in the top 100 nationally, including four in the top eight. 

Kickoff for tonight's CIF-SS Division 1 playoff opener is at 7 p.m. at Orange Coast College. Tickets can be purchased via GoFan, and if you can't make the game, the NFHS Network will stream it.
