The OLu boys soccer team is headed to the CIF Semifinals! Back at home on Tuesday night, the Lancers
downed Oak Park 2-1 to advance to the CIF Division 1 Semifinal round.
Alex Vasquez scored the game-winning header goal over halfway through the second half, his second in as many games.
Hector Arellanes netted the first goal.
After snapping a 20-plus-year semifinal drought last year, the Lancers have made two semifinal appearances in the past two seasons. The win also ensures a berth in the CIF State Tournament.
OLu will host Harvard Westlake in the CIF Semifinals at home on Friday night at 5 pm.
