For the 2nd straight year, the OLu girls flag football team won the Trinity League championship after beating Santa Margarita on Thursday night.  OLu twice rallied from a touchdown down and eventually took the lead for good by halftime, 20-14.  In the second half, they extended the lead to 12 midway through the 2nd half en route to the win by the score of 32-14.

The Lancers finished the regular season with a 19-2 overall record and a 4-2 league mark.  MaxPreps currently ranks them #2 in the nation.

The inaugural CIF playoffs are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 22, and the playoff brackets will be revealed on Saturday, October 19.
