Orange Lutheran High School

Klitzing, a decorated alumnus and veteran coach, returns to his alma mater after leading Crean Lutheran High School to unprecedented success. As Director of Basketball and Head Varsity Coach from 2018 to 2025, Klitzing guided the program to a CIF Championship (2021), CIF State Runner-Up finish, multiple league titles, and appearances in the CIF Open Division and State Regional Finals. In 2021, he was named CIF/OC Coach of the Year.

A product of the Orange Lutheran basketball program himself, Klitzing was a three-year varsity player, All-CIF First Team honoree, and part of championship teams in both the Empire and Olympic Leagues. He later played at Concordia University, where he was a team captain, a two-time NAIA National Runner-Up, and a recipient of the Champion of Character Award.

His coaching philosophy emphasizes Christian character, discipline, and leadership, on and off the court.
