Do we need to dress out for APE?
You are required to dress out everyday for your APE Class. Even if you are unable to train that day, we still require you to dress out and help coach throughout the session.
What is the APE dress code?
- Athletic Shirt & Shorts
- Athletic Shoes
- Sandals, Slides, & Crocs will NOT be allowed.
- Hats/Headgear/Head Coverings are NOT allowed.
- Jewelry, Earrings, & Rings are NOT allowed.
- Necklaces & Pendants are acceptable.
- See Through/Mesh Attire & Pajamas are NOT allowed.
What should I do if I forget clothes for APE?
If students forget their clothes, we will either encourage them to find some additional clothing from a friend or they still come to class and are docked points for not being dressed out.
What happens if I get hurt?
If an athlete gets hurt prior to the day's training, the athlete is to let their APE instructor know before the class period. This will allow coaches to make the necessary modifications needed for the athlete. If it is something that may require our Athletic Trainers, we instruct the student to go speak with them for further evaluation.
What if I have an outside trainer?
Students will still be required to train in their given block. This is a class based on attendance and participation.
Are there opportunities for me to train outside of my given block?
You are required to attend the period you are registered for. If you are interested in other opportunities, talk with a sports performance instructor.
Are there opportunities for me if I am not in a sport to train in the block?
Only athletes registered up for a sport and registered for an APE class may train during their team training period.
