The OLu hockey team took the show on the road on Thursday night and came out victorious, beating Central Cathedral 4-0.
It was a rare midweek trip to San Diego to open the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League playoffs, but the Lancers were not fazed.
Atticus Knutson opened the scoring in the first period to give the Lancers the 1-0 lead. Â
Up 1-0 in the second,
Aerick Bacon scored 10 seconds into a Cathedral powerplay to extend the cushion.
Jack Shade scored late in the period to make it 3-0, and there was no looking back.
Kasen Mainberger posted the shutout in the win.
Olu will play #1 seeded Fairmont Prep in the semifinals on Friday, February 9, at 4:20 pm at Great Park Ice. Â
