Paul Jones is in his fifth year at Orange Lutheran High School in the role of athletic director. During his time as a Lancer student, Jones was a three-sport athlete participating in football, basketball, and baseball. He played in three CIF championship games while at Orange Lutheran, twice in football and once in basketball. Upon his graduation, Jones attended Fullerton College and Cal State Fullerton simultaneously. He played receiver for the Fullerton College football team while studying radio and television at both schools. After graduating from Cal State Fullerton in 2006, Jones went into sports reporting and production before enrolling at Concordia University Irvine in 2009 to pursue his master’s degree in coaching and administration, which he graduated with in 2010. He earned his teaching credential from Concordia in 2011. Lutheran education is undeniably at the core of Jones. He is a proud alumnus of St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Orange. Continuing the Lutheran theme, Jones served from 2009-12 as athletic director and physical education instructor at Orange Lutheran association and feeder school, Hephatha Lutheran School, in Anaheim Hills. In 2012, Jones was Norco High School’s head discipline administrator. In 2013, Jones served one year as athletic director in the northernmost part of the CIF at Templeton High School. The Lancer for Life is excited return to his alma mater and build upon the lasting tradition of being a servant leader through Christ, athletics, and academics.
