On the season's final day, the Orange Lutheran softball team clinched a share of their 3rd straight Trinity League title with a 10-5 win over Rosary.
Leading by 1 entering the 5th inning, the Lancers bats exploded for five runs to put the game away. Brianne Weiss won her 16th game. OLu had 12 hits, including home runs by Tessa Jerue and Mak Motis. Kiki Estrada had 3 RBI and Kai Minor went 4-4.
This is the program's 16th league title and the 8th since entering the Trinity League. They finished the regular season with a 19-8 record and were 6-2 in league. OLu will find out their playoffs path when the CIF brackets are released on Saturday, April 30.
