The Orange Lutheran softball team has done it again, winning their fourth consecutive league championship and 17th overall following the Lancers 1-0 victory in game 1 of a doubleheader over Rosary 1-0 on Friday afternoon.
Brianne Weiss delivered a standout performance on the mound with seven strikeouts and secured the win. Emi Todoroki had the game-winning RBI in the sixth inning. Tessa Jerue also had an impressive showing, going 3 for 4 at the dish.
OLu won game 2 of the double dip 8-1. The Lancers are 19-5 overall and 10-0 in league play. Two games remain in the regular season before the CIF playoffs begin the week of May 1.
