The Lancers bats picked up right where they left off at the end of the regular season en route to a 10-0 win over Poly Riverside in round 1 of the Division 1 CIF-SS playoffs.  It was the 3rd straight double-digit run performance by the Lancers offense. 

Mak Motis got it going in the first with 2 RBI double.  In the second, freshman Kai Minor doubled in 2 more to extend the lead to 5-0.   She wasn't done, as she ripped a three-run homer in the 3rd.  Minor finished 2-4 with 5 RBIs.  Tessa Jerue and Emi Todoroki also had RBIs in the win.  

On the mound, Brianne Weiss was her dominant self striking out eight over 5 innings.  The win propels the Lancers into the second round, where they will face Villa Park on Tuesday, May 10.  The game will be played at Foothill High School, with first pitch slated for 3:15 pm.
