The historic first season of the girls flag football program has hit the midway point. The girls won their first game in program history against Foothill on August 24. Through 14 games, OLu is 8-6 overall, including winning their first two league games against JSerra and Santa Margarita. The girls also have non-league wins over St. Joseph, El Modena, and Corona del Mar. They have competed in the Beckman and El Toro Tournaments, going 3-2 overall and finishing as semifinalists at the Beckman Tourney. The final six league games remain on the schedule, including this Thursday's league home opener against Mater Dei. That game will be the Los Angeles Rams Flag Football Game of the Week.
