Senior baseball player Derek Curiel is headed to Taiwan to represent the red, white, and blue! Curiel was named as a USA U18 USA Baseball team member competing in Taipei, Taiwan, in the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-18 Baseball World Cup from September 1-10. Last year, current OLu head Coach Eric Borba and his son Casey Borba '23 were a part of the U18 squad that won the Pan American games, which helped Team USA qualify for this current tournament Curiel is a part of.
