National Signing Day
November 13 marked the first National Signing Day of the 2019-20 school year, and with that, 12 Lancer student-athletes made their commitments to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. For full signing day coverage click the links below.

College Athletics Seminar
Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Team Room
OLu students interested in pursuing college-level athletics should attend this informative seminar. Our NCAA Advisor and Director of Counseling & College Planning, Mr. Steve Barillier, will be giving information on a variety of topics including the NCAA and NAIA's academic eligibility standards, timelines for potential college-bound student-athletes, the recruiting process, and ways that students can market themselves to college coaches. The girls and boys cross country teams competed in the CIF-SS Division 4 Prelims on Saturday, November 16 at Riverside Cross Course. The top 12 from each division advanced to the finals on November 23.
The girls finished 5th out of 22 teams to advance to the CIF Finals. Sophia Gutierrez was 3rd with a time of 19:14. LoLo Landrith was 10th with a time of 19:36. Sophia Gibson was 47th and Ishani Hansji was 48th.
The boys finished 9th out 18 teams to advance to the CIF Finals. Garrett Boezinger finished 20th overall with a time of 16:53. Ethan Pacholl finished 51st and Nathaniel Patton finished 54th.

The Lancers have risen to the top of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League (ADHSHL) with a 3-2 win over the Capistrano Coyotes on Wednesday. OLu rallied from a 2-0 deficit getting goals from Tianshu Liu, Thomas Stift, and the game-winner from Micah Kim. Miles Roberts stopped 20 of 22 shots. The Lancers improved to a perfect 6-0 on the season.

The boys basketball season opens up on Saturday, November 23 vs Walnut High School. The matchup will take place at St. John Bosco.

It will be a busy opening week for the defending CIF Champion Lancer girls basketball squad. OLu will play 4 games in the Whitney Tournament starting on Monday, November 18 against Sunny Hills.

New head coach Csaba Feher will lead the boys soccer team into the 2019-20 season on Wednesday, November 20 when they play at Orange High School.

The OLu wrestling season will open on Saturday, November 23. The varsity boys will compete in the Costa Mesa Classic while the girls varsity squad will be in the Lady Big Kat.
