National Signing Day
On Wednesday, 11 athletes were celebrated in our National Signing Day celebration. Read about all 11 and their college of choice.
Football
The Lancers season ended with a quarterfinal loss to St. John Bosco on Friday night.
Hockey
Last Saturday, the Lancers notched a big win over current league leader Fairmont Prep 4-2. OLu got goals from Brady Chaik, Dawson Williams, James Dean, and Ethan Kuehn. Goaltender Kaizen Mainberger had 22 saves in the win.
They followed that up with a 6-1 win over Bellarmine on Friday night on the first of 3 game road trip to San Jose.
At 8-5 overall, the Lancer hockey team is currently in 2nd place in the ADHSHL with 24 points. They take on Tahoe Prep twice on Saturday before heading back home.
Boys Water Polo
The boys water polo team clinched their 2nd ever trip to the CIF Finals after a thrilling 11-10 win over Corona del Mar in the semis on Wednesday.
The Lancers take on Foothill on Saturday morning at 10:50 for the championship.
Cross Country
The girls cross country team qualified for the CIF Finals after finishing 5th in the CIF Prelims on Saturday morning. Individually, senior Joseph O'Donnell finished 9th in his heat.
Surf
The Lancers are currently 2-5 overall with three meets left on the season. They will compete against Mater Dei on Tuesday, November 15, at 6:30 am.
Girls Basketball
The girls basketball team opens their defense of their CIF title on Monday, November 14, against Magnolia in the Oxford Academy Patriot Tournament.
Boys Basketball
The boys basketball team opens their season at the Rumble for Rosecrans at Sunny Hills High School next week. Their opening opponent is Arlington at 4:30 on Monday afternoon.
