Athlete Profiles
Throughout each season, one athlete from each sport is selected as a profile athlete. This week's profile features senior boys basketball player David Manea.
Boys Basketball
The boys basketball team wrapped up the regular season with a 3rd place finish in the Trinity League. OLu went 16-10 overall and 5-5 in league play.
The CIF playoff draw for boys basketball will be live on Sunday, February 5, at noon. The Lancers will be drawn into the Division 2AA bracket.
Girls Basketball
The girls basketball team beat JSerra on Wednesday to finish the regular season on a high note. The Lancers downed the Lions 77-12 to move to 19-7 on the year. They finished 4-4 in league play.
The girls will be drawn into the Division 1 CIF bracket released on Sunday, February 5, at noon.
Girls Water Polo
The Lancers girls water polo team wrapped up one of the best regular seasons in school history with a 19-9 win over JSerra which clinched an outright Trinity League title. The Lancers league championship is the school's 5th in history.
OLu is 22-2 and will be playing Mater Dei on Thursday, February 9, in the 1st round of the CIF Open Division playoffs. The game will be played at Foothill High School at 6:40 pm.
Girls Soccer
After a 1-1 tie in the season finale at JSerra, the Lancers girls soccer team finished the regular season at 9-6-3. In the league, they finished 4th with a 2-4-2 record. OLu narrowly missed the CIF playoffs.
Boys Soccer
The boys soccer team wrapped up the most successful season in the past 15 years with a 12-6-2 record. They went 5-4-1 in league play which was good for 4th in the final standings.
The Lancers booked the lone at-large spot in the Division 4 bracket of the CIF Playoffs and will play Woodbridge on Thursday, February 9, in the first round. The playoff berth is the program's first since the mid-2000s.
Wrestling
It was another successful Trinity League finals run for the varsity wrestling team. OLu saw 6 Lancers advance to the CIF Finals on Friday, February 10, after finishing in the top 3 in their weight class at league finals.

Hockey
It was a show-stopping finish on the ice in their regular season finale against Santa Margarita. Carson Ferry scored the game-winner in the shootout for a 3-2 victory on senior night. Ethan Kuehn added a goal in the period, as did Ferry. Caleb Martinez stopped 36 shots in the win.
OLu wraps the regular season up with a 14-7 record and a 3rd-place finish. Next will be a trip to the league playoffs and the CAHA State Championships in March.
