Boys Basketball
The boys basketball team is in the CIF Championship for the first time since 2011-12 after beating Oxnard in the semifinals on Friday night 70-49. Read the recap of Oxnard and the whole run on our blog.

Girls Basketball
The girls basketball team has made a run to the CIF Semifinals for the second straight season. The Lancers will host Chaminade on Saturday at 6 pm with a berth in the CIF Finals on the line.

Girls Water Polo
For the second time in school history, the girls water polo team is in the CIF Finals. They beat Los Alamitos on Wednesday night to advance to the finals. Read the recap of the win.

Boys Soccer
The boys soccer team continues to make history, as they have advanced to the CIF Semifinals for the first time in over 15 years. OLu beat Great Oak on Wednesday to go to the semifinals, where they will host Oxnard on Saturday at 4 pm.

Wrestling
Four Lancer wrestlers made their way to the CIF Masters meet this past Friday. Lance Dunwoody, Tusitalia ili, Joseph Dervartanian, and Jen Flores represented the Lancers at Palm Springs High School.
Dunwoody and Dervartanian both finished in 6 place, one spot out of a berth to the CIF State meet. Ili, who finished 4th in the CIF Finals meet, ran into stiff competition and lost both bouts. Ili had a tremendous season. Flores will compete in the girls Masters competition on Saturday.
Hockey
The OLu Division, 1 hockey team, is off until the league playoffs. OLu finished 3rd and will play the winner of JSerra/Tahoe Prep in the quarterfinals on Thursday, February 23.
Baseball
The Lancers baseball team is off to a great start in the PBR Spring Classic. OLu knocked off Redondo, Aquinas, and Corona in 3 straight games to make the finals.
They will face Gahr on Tuesday night at 7:15 at the Great Park in the finals.
Softball
In the season opener for OLu softball, the Lancers fell to fellow Division 1 team Los Alamitos 2-1. OLu will be back on the diamond at the SoCal's Best Showcase this week.
Girls Lacrosse
The girls lacrosse team, coming off their first CIF playoff berth in school history, started the season 1-1. OLu lost to Chaparral in the opener but bounced back with a 19-0 shutout of Paloma Valley on Thursday.
Beach Volleyball
In their 2nd season in competition, the girls beach volleyball team is off to a great start. OLu won 2 out of 3 to open the season. They knocked off Huntington Beach and Newport Harbor.
Boys Tennis
On the court, the boys tennis team opened the season with two great matches this past week. They fell 10-8 against El Dorado in the opener and then lost a heartbreaker in a 9-9 tie on games to Brea Olinda on Thursday.
