Sarah Klinkenberg Named Head Girls Soccer Coach

Orange Lutheran Athletics is proud to announce the hiring of Sarah Klinkenberg ’13 as the next Girls Soccer coach. Klinkenberg, a 2017 graduate of Azusa Pacific University, served as the Lancers' Assistant Varsity Coach for the past two seasons.

During her time as a student at Orange Lutheran, Klinkenberg was a goalkeeper for the Lancers varsity team for four seasons. She continued her career collegiately at Azusa Pacific, where she played from 2013-2017. Prior to coaching at Orange Lutheran, she spent three years as a varsity and JV coach at South Hills High School in West Covina.

"I am eager to build girl's soccer into a consistent, competitive, and successful sports program on the Orange Lutheran campus," Klinkenberg says. "Being an alumna of the program, I am passionate about creating this program to be a pivotal threat in the Trinity League."

Paul Jones, Orange Lutheran's Athletic Director, is ready to watch Klinkenberg thrive.

"Sarah is a tremendous leader with soccer knowledge that is off the charts and has a great heart for people and the girls in the program. She is going to grow our soccer program and our girls into young women who are ready for the next levels of soccer and life!"

The girls' soccer season begins in November.
